Bill Outlaw and Dale played a consolation match and Dale won 8 -3. High wind was a problem during the match. We had dinner with Bill and his wife at Stanford at the National Senior Games in 2009. Both couples were happy to see each other again.

Owen in the white shorts and Dale in the red hat were partners today in doubles against the California guys. Dale/Owen won
9 - 7.   This puts them into the finals of the mens 65.

All eight of us are enjoying being together in a 4 bedroom condo, laughing and telling stories. The first day Carol/Cj fixed dinner, 2nd day all of us ate out, 3rd day Sally/Lowell cooked. Every day it's rained off and on, some matches were cancelled. The weather this week has not been in our favor.  We heard from Hutch/Peri and she was very sick, was in the ER for 8 hrs with pain meds.
Utah is spacious and quite interesting with the Mormon history. We haven't had an opportunity yet to tour around, perhaps today and friday will give us time as the matches wind down. We definately want to tour the Mormon Cathedral.  Our friends children are mormons and live in Arizona. It's interesting to hear their stories.
St. George is 100,000 but because it's spread out it doesn't seem like so many. It's not like driving thru Ithaca, always backed up any time of day.
Off we go to watch Joan play her match this morning.
